a girl I barely knew but went to High School with has become quite gifted in glass work and somehow we connected on facebook. I mentioned that my Dad had died in 1996 but I still had a shard of the mug he used the most, and was sad that I had broken it because the memories were so vital. She asked me to trust her with the fragment of pottery and just returned it to me as 4 necklaces. What a great gift. Those are beautiful! How precious and lovely. If you look at the news and some of the horrors that take place all about the world you begin to think there is nothing good left in mankind. And then someone does an act of kindness, like this, and your hope in humanity is restored.
