Being a july Birthday child, A Ruby birthstone and the 4th of July and Larkspur's all seemed to belong to me. Fireworks and a heart shaped Ruby ring and a big snowball fight were things I remember from an early birthday
It was baking hot at the morning parade in Cody, the snow was at 10,000 feet in the bear tooth hwy area and the fireworks were over the stampede grounds at the rodeo
@maggiemae We always went up into the mtns to the snow in July. The snow never completely melted and the area was tundra. It is in the Rockies just north east of Yellowstone. And one of the angels had a halo molded onto her head. The other three had wings but only hair on their head. No mouse just a tiny angel ( who is also a bell)
I was born around Memorial Day and for a little while thought that big parade was for my birthday! But I never got fireworks. Cute little anfel figurines!
july child here, too! growing up, i shared birthday with mrs. marcos when they were still in power. she would order the bus fares would be free for everyone in manila on her birthday so i used to tell people i was giving them free bus rides as my treat. in canada, they celebrate canada day on july 1 and my friends always tell me that it must be nice to have firewords as a precursor to one's birthday. i just want to be left alone. :-)
nice shot and processing of the figurines. i know you treasure these to bits!
