The Crescent City Harbor was decimated by the Tsunami in March of 2011 and is still very low on dock space as repairs are under way. They harbor is being dredged of the silt that was dumped in, the sunken boats have been hauled out long ago, the depth is being restored and a mega drill is placing secured mounting for the docks that will be replaced but this kind of drill hadn't been used before and the drill bit is amazing, but when it broke it stopped work for month, plus they are not allowed to work if one sea lion enters the harbor and they are not allowed to chase the sea lions away, and the harbor has a lot of seals and sea lions.
