Ok, this is a stretch to find a picture that goes with Racing, I didn't see the two tall ships visiting our harbor in a race, but they were doing mock battles with gunpowder in the cannons.
We al;so mentioned the Tsunami yesterday in my Photo of this ship, so I'm linking the newspaper story of another boat, one that just arrived on our beach after two years adrift, from Japan. The same tsunami that killed a man here, and did $55 million in damage to our harbor
I remember reading a similar article on line and thinking that Crescent City might be where you were- how about that- I was right! These tall ships are really impressive. It sounds like it was also impressive to watch the mock battle!
