The May 2013 word for the day is sun, and I spent part of yesterday replanting these hanging baskets on my front porch, but this is a filler picture I've loved and had in my favorites file since 2008. Oh well, Once I hit about 400 posts here I gave myself permission to love the fillers too.
People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

partner saw this just now and he said: "that's an incredible shot. did you take that last night?" because we went chasing the sunset last night and i had some shots that looked like this, colour-wise, alas, not as incredible as this one.
