With the option of a weekend of peace, I chose instead to go for JOY and invited my little Angel and the blind dog over for the night. I allow all those things that make messes so we painted and blew bubbles in the kitchen until we could skate on the floor and then we mopped, joyfully, to music, and then she went in the bath and was asleep for the night. This morning was waffles and running in the meadow in neck high (on her) dandelions.
