When I was a child the road went right by this waterfall, but it mostly got forgotten when a bridge cut off the loop in the road and cut straight across the canyon further down. I had to take my kids and park by the bridge and then hike a bit to get back to show them one of my favorite places up by the Beartooth Highway and the small town of Cooke City, MT
Now enough years have passed that even their childhood is a distant memory
