This footbridge across the Smith River goes from Jedediah Smith National & State park to Stout Grove redwoods. It is usually put in when the spring flooding eases at Memorial day and put in storage after Labor Day. The center section is tall enough to allow kayaks and canoes and small drift boats below.
"Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach."
Earl Nightingale
@salza yes it is a footbridge only and shakes and sways with every step. Just wide enough for two to pass if one holds the cable and steps to the edge.
