For washing dishes

I have decided to be slightly insane in October and combine three challenges. The localwonders challenge and the oct13words challenge with my own black and white in the corners and a panoramic cross in color for the calendar view. The words were back yard wonders and windows and this is the view from my kitchen window. There is an old cherry tree and an enormous redwood snag. Back yard wonders fits here because I live on wonderstump and my yard has a lot of redwood stumps as big as some garages.
Is the redwood at the back.? Its mighty! The whole picture is very pleasing!

Great shot--love this in b&W with the objects in the front silhouetted against the window. I like your combination of challenges. That should keep it interesting. :)

I love it that you're thinking to combine a group of challenges! It just says to me that you're up to a little risk taking and you're thinking outside the box!

It's such a pretty view to have while washing dishes! The perfect setting for a daydream while your getting a job done. You've definitely gone above and beyond with the challenges. I decided I needed time off from them. After doing a monthly challenge since August 2011, I'm starting to feel they are hampering me rather than helping. So I'm free as a kite this month and planning to go back over some Patterson stuff and really learn my camera by actually reading the manual so that I understand it!

slightly insane? :-) i don't think so. with your creativity and penchant for careful and thorough planning, i'm in awe and pretty sure it will be a spectacular one. this already is a great shot, i'd like for it to be in colour/cross process but still works brilliantly in black and white.
