Tourist Smiles

So, looking for Local Tourist Traps and Smiles
Those two challenge words seem to line up pretty well. We have Redwoods with a giant Statue of Babe and Paul Bunyan, or Ocean World, which was Undersea World until Sea World Sued and made them change their name. They have tide pools and trained sea lions and this photo spot where my oldest son demonstrated his ability to make Mom smile.

3 good things
1. 81* weather this weekend
2. at least 3 days of subbing already scheduled for this week
3. Living in the Redwood Coast

I guessed I missed this one the first time around so I'll use it as a place to say the calendar looks GREAT!

@olivetreeann I thank you but I'm frustrated. I think I'd love the result if the corner pictures were all high key or really dark and the panoramic shots very vividly colored but also wish the calendar view kept the days rectangular instead of squaring off the image which makes it line up awkwardly. Not usually a perfectionist but still a moment of, "it could be better"

@pandorasecho You were very ambitious in tackling more than one challenge on this. It's always something you can try again down the road if you so choose. And maybe the next time you'll just work on the overall calendar idea- perhaps the criss-cross in high key b/w and everything around it color (or vice-versa) or perhaps another distinct pattern- you can have fun with it. Planning ahead is the key factor. Since the 365 calendar is not laid out like a regular calendar you have to adjust the shooting schedule to match 365 and not the calendar on the wall. But I still think you did a great job in combining all those challenges and still getting your panoramas in the center.
