Well, a big, scary local event was the Tsunami of March 28, 1964 and the less deadly but more recent one of March 11, 2011

Three Good things
This is harder today, I have a fever and a daughter in law who is angry with me
1. Ok that today is only one day and is not like most of them in my life.
2. Tomorrow I get to work with kindergarten kids and do some art. That will be good
3. That huge cyclone in India seems to have been a lot less human lives lost than I had heard predicted
Daughter in law- did I miss something- well, yes, I did, I've missed a lot of your shots, but I'm not certain how. Maybe when I went to Vermont? Anyway- I've seen the panorama since I peeked at the calendar the other day and it turned out so nice! I hope maybe someday, somehow to make it to your coast- it always looks so beautiful.
@olivetreeann hmmm. So many something's lately. My oldest son broke up with Angels Mom in early August and went back out tuna fishing. My youngest son was packing to go back to Santa Cruz for Sophomore year when his girlfriend took a pregnancy test and they decided she was too sick to go back yet so they both stayed in town. Life! It's an interesting ride for sure.
@pandorasecho Well, I knew about your younger son's change of plans, but when I read "daughter in law" I wasn't sure if the change included a wedding as well as a baby. Sorry to hear about your older son's break up- I know you enjoyed having Angel in the family. From what I've seen on TV (and I know that's not always a good thing to gage life by) a fisherman's life and relationships are not always a good mix. But you and their father are an anchor for both of them and I'm sure that means a lot. As for the last statement- you can say that again!!
