Abandoned Wonders
And Apples
Are the challenge words I'm working with here.
The redwood stumps along wonderstump drive are abandoned relics of the Hobbs Wall logging camp that used to be where my house sits. And the apples are the gift of a tree that fell seven years ago and still provides abundantly
Three good things
1. Fresh fruit and apple custard pie
2. The last night of the drive I theater got fogged out but I have enjoyed it for 24 years
3. A lovely fire in the fireplace and a video at home can be just as good with my family here.
