Memories and hopes

A sunny yellow track suit
fleecy warm and snug
to wrap each newborn baby in
a cozy welcome hug

it came to me
a hand me down
from cousins, far away

I used it twice
and will pass it on
on one soon to be here, day

@pandorasecho - my niece in chicago, very smart, very intelligent, was born on may 21. she graduated summa cum laude and is now a nurse. i know three other people, personally, all successful, who were born on may 21.

@summerfield May 21 will be my 30th wedding anniversary and my son, the Dad to be, was due May 21 as well just 20 years ago. But he was a premie
