When my youngest son was a baby, he din't sleep more than a couple hours at a time, then when he was about 20 months old he started talking to the wall beside his bed, where there was no window because it was an interior wall, "Are you there Baby Lion? Are you going to stay right by my window all night? Good because I'll be on this side of the window if you need me."
Then he slept. We never knew where the imaginary lion cmd from but we were very grateful, and 4 months later when we moved to a new house, he was sad that his window didn't move with us. His new room had a window so no room for an imaginary one, I guess. Then we went to a petting zoo in Bandon, Oregon, and this guy was roaring up a storm. I took this picture and framed it and hung it next to my son's bed and the lion talks resumed for awhile.
But no, March didn't come in like a lion here, my plum trees bust into bloom and the daffodils have been blooming a couple weeks now. We did just have one frosty morning, our first of the season.
