wow, thank you so much for posting this, we have them around here being inter-bred with beef, if that is the correct term? called beffalol, supposed to be better for people thank beef - guess it is better than what used to happen to them.
@catsmeowb yes, beefalo have been around for at least since the seventies when I know a few ranches were using them back in Wyoming. I love buffalo roast. But the animals themselves are just beautiful I think
I'm assuming these are not "wild". There are a few farms around here that have attempted to raise them. I'm not sure how successful they are- but I never looked in to it. I have also had buffalo meat and liked it. I've noticed it is now being sold at the supermarket. I think I'd rather see buffalo meat like this though- nice shot!
