Rhododendron for @Sue Wilde

This flowering bush may be why I now can appreciate pink, outside, against a blue sky or yellow flowers but hated that color most of my life because my older cousin loved it, and I got her hand me downs.
They are beautiful. Ours haven't bloomed yet.

These flowers petals almost look like skirts! They have wonderful colour and lots of frills!

oh, Dixie, what a beautiful and thoughtful photo to post. can see why you would not enjoy pink as a child, not really your best color, but these are stunning. mine won't even think of blooming for a long time yet.
