Organ Donor's Grove by pandorasecho

Organ Donor's Grove

Today. My newfound friends in the hometown photography site on Facebook, took our second field trip together. This time we went to a sad and lovely redwood grove dedicated to a 21/2 year old boy whose liver donation saved a fourteen month old girl's life. For perspective, that branch arching over the trail was easily passed under by a man of six foot four wearing a hat.
As you say, sad but has a meaning of new life.. Trees are always bringing new life into our lives!

What a beautiful place to pay tribute to the young donor. A place of angels.

Interesting way to crop (or stitch together) just the base of very tall trees.

@francoise once again, I was using my iPad, and this time held it the tall way (portrait orientation) and in panorama mode, hit the button, then slowly rotated about 1/2 way around, so it is about a 180* view

The skinny clear spot to the left side of the arch was the trail I was standing on
