When my husband was a child, his parents brought the family to this lake on the edge of Custer State Park for picnics. Then about ten years ago his Dad had a horrible motorcycle wreck and lost several memories so when we brought him here, he said "this is beautiful and so close to home, why have we never come before?" Now the family includes great grand children and the parents are frail, but the beauty was here long before us and shall remain long after.
I wonder if he will remember this recent experience! Not a real problem as he is in his own world but your husband has memories that will never dim. Now you have a photograph that will never dim! fav
