You are really getting "drenched" up there. We at the other end CA., and we have had two GOOD rains, each lasting most of the night and much of the next day. Some of it was downpour!! But we haven't got the inches you have --- yet! Oh, don't we need the rain?!
@francoise the ground here has an amazing ability to absorb water, nine inches in a weekend and you barely get puddles, but redwoods need 500 gallons a day!
