I usually leave the tree up until MLKjr day, and this year a week later due to being out of town that long weekend. When we were putting it up, I went strictly for the cloth and plastic and paper ornaments and when at the last moment, my husband started hanging a box of the old glass decorations, I jumped on him, "with a toddler around this year, this will get broken!" And turns out, it did, by me, after the tree was out the door, I knocked it, out of the box as I went to seal it shut.
