Today I am going to the "South Coast Writer's Conference" and I had no hope of taking my newest book because I hit publish on kindle on the 5th and on the paperback on the 8th and createspace assured me the books would get to me by the 23rd, but here they are. it is such a fun feeling to open that box and see something that has only been a file in my computer, suddenly have weight in my hand. I love this little conference, and I love the small coastal town where it is held, so I'm excited. The motel is on a beach, that, while downtown, is still almost deserted, especially this time of year.
