Im not allowed to be the first to tell family or to post on Facebook before they do. My story teller son says sharing the news is one of the best parts of the experience, but telling my friends here the happy news doesn't step into his territory. A week overdue and lovely, Baby Gavin was born after 35 1/2 hours of labor. 9 lbs, 13 oz and 21 inches long, he didn't start breathing until ten minutes of infant CPR got him there. Now he has a healthy set of lungs and is already turning his head and eyes to track people as they move.
