Violet March 4

Skipping indigo, I know and joining those who do Sundays this month in pink was ultimately decided by the fact that having a little girl nowadays means that pink is everywhere you look, so instead of indigo Saturday's, I start this column with violet, also abundant in the wake of Miss Daisy.

What a sweetie pie! I'm skipping indigo too- I don't have a lot of things that color and the ones that I do, I've already used in other rainbows. But instead of pink, I'll be going with brown. There's ample amounts of that around here these days!
