Do you use “stoop” or stairs, or porch or front steps?
My grandma used Stoop and grew up in Illinois. My Dad used
Porch and was from Pennsylvania
I grew up in Wyoming but used everything depending o my mood

In Dutch we know 'stoep' (pronounced just as your stoop). It means pavement or sidewalk.

my grandma was raised in a community with a large percentage of Pennsylvania Dutch. (Really German) but much similar in language and recipes
