Great find, hope they were all destroyed. Their sting is more painful than any other. I had a scar for a year after being stung. Fav!! 😀

@carolmw they stung my husband while he was weed eating blackberry brambles, only two stings but enough that the next thing he did was buy hornet/wasp spray and knock down the nest.

I love the patterns- but of course not the stings! We have a huge bees nest in our shed but we're pretty sure it's dormant. Jeff watched it the other day for a good 15 minutes and there was no activity. Still when he decide to tackle it- I'll be telling him to spray it first just in case! Good catch!
