This young gull looks similar to the other gulls, but hasn’t learned how to follow the rules and keeps getting chased away from the group feeding frenzy. Instead he paused and began clicking his bill and crying for mom to come feed him. First day of Fall so he still has time to get better at self care.
Still, the sacred bond of nestling and parent has been fulfilled and now he is left to figure it out.
