A few years ago I tried a sunset painting through trees of The narrows, a place where a narrow highway suddenly warns, “road narrows” and loses the shoulders. Wonderful river and swimming holes. Now burning and those other pictures are screenshots from Facebook posts in fire watch groups

I hope you and your family are safe as I'm not sure how close you are to the worst of it. Isn't it a strange feeling? I have some pictures of a barn that was quite iconic in this area. When I took them, the thought was the barn would stay, but it was eventually torn down for a huge building project. It's so odd to look at those pictures now and the site where it once was. Stay safe!!
