We adopted him when he was 14 hours old and I think he was about five weeks in this picture.
@aglennc oh so deeply entangled is adoption in my family. My mom and dad had a miscarriage then me then adopted my brother, and two of my aunts and uncles each adopted a boy, and then my husband's mom, and her sister and brother were all three adopted but from separate birth families. So when I had trouble getting pregnant we already knew it was just another way to have a baby
We have an adoptee/biological family as well..... It's been amazing to us that so many people who don't know absolutely "see the family resemblance". It's amusing and wonderful, at the same time.
