This was 3 years ago. in the high upper left there is a pale wooden snag kind of shaped like a unicorn head, on a redwood snag that fell this last winter. that shook the ground more than when this apple tree fell. right at my waist is the original apple tree trunk, supported that high after it fell by the branches which drove into the ground and (I assume) rerooted to keep the apples flourishing these 9 years since it toppled.
