At a zoo many years ago, my younger brother (who has Down's syndrome but is so much more than that) and my Dad were riding an elephant. I had my turn too, but enjoyed taking pictures even then, with a black rectangle called a Kodak instamatic.
@maggiemae Lance is doing well, and calls me a lot but lives with my mom and older brother just outside DC on the opposite side of North America from me. He got a high school diploma, worked at Walmart for 19 years, and drives a quad around a ranch now to feed cows, horses and chickens.
