First real tree

After I got married and moved to Ashland Oregon, I finally got th Pine scent and needled carpet I'd dreamed of with moms allergies blocking my dreams. I didn't actually take it down until Valentibes day and that was under threat from the landlord, and I cried

Awww! While we lived in Stockholm, NJ, our living room was what used to be the place where horse buggies were stored. The large room was basically unheated except for a huge fire place. Most of the time we just bundled up to watch tv or spend time in there. But it was great for Christmas trees! It was like keeping them in a walk in refrigerator! So, although I can't say I kept it up until Valentines Day, on some years it came pretty close!
