Spring tree

This old tree by the entrance to the school takes a lot of abuse as kids climb through it and yet every spring for at least the 28 years I’ve been here, it blooms

I was thinking along the same lines as Wendy! If no one paid any attention to it, I think it would become overly sad and wither away.
