It was rainy where we were and yet clear for the setting sun. I told my husband the colors made me think of a Maxwell Parrish print. He didn’t agree. That isn’t uncommon. When we disagree I tell him that he has the right to my opinion.
I tend to think of more saturated colors in Maxfield Parrish's work, but some of his pieces are more muted. Nevertheless, your hubby is dead wrong, since only you can know what the colors in this shot make YOU think of. And if they make you think of Maxfield Parrish, then the disagreement ends there. He does have a right to your opinion. :-) Oh, nice shot, BTW.
