Park antique

I love how some of the original features have been kept in my local park. This drinking fountain is tucked away in a now overgrown area but I remember drinking from it as a kid. I pressed the button (as you do) but sadly no water now but I liked the way it's aged and strangely, no debris or rubbish in the bowl.
Oh my! I remember using that too. It was put in the open back in the day but overgrown now. Great find - I really must revisit the park sometime soon.

A nice looking old water fountain. someone passing by must've cleaned the debris away.

It is nice that it was left there. Those relics from the past can evoke pleasant memories.

A super find! - I read recently that there is a move to restore old drinking fountains to discourage people from buying bottled water.
