St Johns Church by pcoulson

St Johns Church

St John the Batist Church at Coley village in West Yorkshire on a grey overcast day.
There has been a church on the site since 1513 just over 500 years.
The present building was constructed in 1816, designed by local architect William Bradley. it can be seen for miles around, hence the new name St John's the church on a hill. The building has remained in constant use and apart from the occasional facelift is in a similar condition to when built.
Nice capture!
