@quietpurplehaze Wow praise indeed Hazel thank you so much, it was a quick nip out in the rain to capture a macro shot of flowers, I didn't loiter for long out there only took five different flower shots:)
Ah, you got so much closer than I was able to when I took a similar shot Peter Love the detail - the little hairy bits at the end of the flower. Super shot
Wow, what an astonishing hue. Did you use a polarising filter? or was it the effect of the overcast light? i'm loving the composition/tight framing.. it makes a spectacular photograph.
@jorlam Thank you for your interesting comments Jorlam, no polarising filter fitted on my lens and yes it was raining with limited light with a little breezy hence 1/200 sec at f3.5, and ISO 160 to maintain the detail, possibly a little added saturation when I processed the raw image but not that much:)
@onewing Thank you for your lovely comments Babs, my sister who emigrated to Australia holiday in New Zealand and said it felt like she was back in England's green and pleasant land:)
@suesouthwood Thank you for your lovely comments Sue I almost had my macro lens up the trumpets for this shot, it was raining and I was in my shorts and T shirt went back indoors wet and with muddy knees, lol:)
