@henrir Thank you for your comment Henri all these flowers are wild Crocuses, there were no native Crocuses in the UK originally, they were brought to England and naturalised in Mediaeval times (from the 5th to the 15th century) by Monks and occurs especially in Lancashire, Yorkshire around Huddersfield and Halifax. they grow in grassy places, these are now growing wild all over the place,
they do not look the same as your Texas Bluebonnets which are a type of Lupin:)
@onewing A real sign of spring just hope its going to warm up soon, btw snow it forecast for this weekend and my daughter is running the Lincoln 10k race on Sunday:)
