Running Repairs

The stone retaining wall fell into the road running out of the village a few weeks ago, it has been reinforced with a concrete wall then these large interlocking concrete blocks, these fellows are building a dry stone wall facia to blend in with the original wall running up the hill and a great job they are doing.
That is some big wall to collapse.......must have cost a bomb to replace.

@cutekitty Thanks for your comment Kitty it was a mess when it came down not just the wall but lots of soil, closed the road for a day, as for the cost I understand it’s spit over three properties home insurance, will be lots of pennies:)
