I was out helping Lightcliffe Scouting Group planting saplings along a field donated by a local farmer to became a nature conservation area, we planted the border down to the brook at the bottom to the right will also be planted with trees over the next couple of years,
top the team, left the route, bottom the helpers.
I had permission from all the parents of the children to take and publish these image.
What a great collage to capture this great project! How wonderful that a local farmer donated this land to become a nature conservation area! And congratulations, Peter, to you Ethan (I just read your reply to Babs) Fav!
@365projectorgheatherb Many thanks Heather for your wonderful comment and adding as a Fav, the farmer is related to the scout leader and between them they came up with the idea, the line we planted runs along an existing walkers right of way through this field, it is and will remain a public right of way available to all:)
