Just a different capture

Took my infrared camera on my walk today, infrared image converted to monochrome, no it didn't snow in Portinscale today

Really interesting to see the difference. For me, the IR version has more life, but probably the two versions just have a different feel. Thanks for showing us these, Peter. IR is new to me.

It does look nice in monochrome, but of the two I prefer the other one.

Ooo, I just shot a roll of film in my Holga that is supposed to mimic infrared style images. I hope mine turn out as nice as yours.

@365projectorgheatherb Thank you Heather for your interesting comment, an infrared sensor captures light we can't see, its all down to how the camera and you process the image:)

@onewing Thanks for your comment Babs, I only have my laptop with me on holiday so can't process the image as well as I can at home the monochrome would be more contrasty than this:)

we used to stay in Portinscale - haven't been back for a while - wouldn't recognise it now!!! ;-)

@anniesue You would recognise the old buildings but there are a lot of new ones and it’s much bigger than my first visit in the 1980’s:)
