Colours in Judy Woods

Wet day in Judy Woods,
Judy Woods is situated in south Bradford and is the third largest woodland in the Bradford district at a size of forty hectares (400,000 square metres, its only available to walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists, lots of quite and peaceful walks.
How wonderful to have a protected place this beautiful to walk around.

It looks very dismal and wintery. I wonder why the trees were cut down.

@onewing Thank you Babs for your comment, some have been cutdown because of Dutch Elm disease, others being a danger to the public after storms, must say cutting them down is not taken lightly:)
