This it all that remains of the Bamber Bridge Spinning & Weaving Company Mill on Wesley Street.
The cotton mill opened in 1907 and was one of the larges in the Preston area with 135,000 Spindle, it closed in 1959 with the decline of the British cotton industry, many attempt have been made to save the building all failed, it is coming down to make way for 200 new homes
Progress they call it.Its a wonder they don,t dynamite it.Nice capture Peter!

@peterlgrave Thanks for you comments Peter, they only use explosives on high or reinforced concrete structure over here Peter, Demolition method changed here following the inquiry into the Royal Canberra Hospital disaster of 1997;)

@terryliv Thanks Terry for your comments, the tower part has mobile phone antenna's and still stand because the mobile phone mast it replaces is not fully operational , will be in week or two
