Magnolia trees originate from Southeast Asia and North America and can live more than 100 years. The bark and flowers of magnolia are used in traditional Asian medicine.

Beautiful Macro! I love these flowers but the trees are another story! There's one in my front yard that produces beautiful blooms for three weeks, and sheds on my car the other 49 weeks.

That's an unusual magnolia middle. I love how varied they are, all showy and beautiful but all so different. Mine have very black stamen. This is very nice.
