One of the more interesting cars from Pontiac in the fourties & fifties was Chieftain. The Chieftain was a very handsome model, with plenty of chrome and bells and whistles.

Looking at this, and that knob on the right hand side of the dashboard, I'm suddenly remembering when cars used to have a choke. I was just a kid but I remember my dad adjusting the choke to get his car to idle smoothly. Wow, feeling old now.
