Tomatoes, Basil and Thyme

I think these might be the last garden tomatoes of the season...possibly the one reason I'm sorry to see the end of summer. Hello autumn! :)

Btw - I grew the herbs; but, not the tomatoes - those are from my friendly neighborhood farmer's market. I gave up trying to grow tomatoes. I figured it cost me about $23/lb to grow my own! :)

Great shot for the theme. And those tomatoes and herbs always bring summer to mind. Ours are almost ready; just picking the first of them now at the end of the first month of Spring. I love the way you've composed this; makes me want to head for the olive oil and red wine vinegar and get stuck in!
