Tom and I were walking to the lighting shop and saw this guy out on the balcony of a condo. I'm pretty sure he's from out of town. Doesn't look like he's ready to trade his horse for the light rail. :)

Wonderful capture! Looks like he's in 'quick draw' mode to me. Glad you didn't get in the way of the shoot out. Reckon you could tag this as 'yard art'.
Peggy, just saw your question on Sheri's site about my macro setting. I don't know what it might be called on yours but it's possibly the 'close-up setting' you refer to. I know that if I don't use it when photographing close-ups of flowers, insects, etc., it's just not in focus. I hasten to add that my p&s is a very good one, although now a few years old, so don't know how others measure up.
