The NCAA Basketball tournament gets underway today. Let the madness begin! This is a shot of my winning bracket. :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
~and Happy March Madness to basketball fans. :)
@chamrick :) Thanks, Christine! Actually, I blocked out the elite eight and beyond due to the fact that others in my pool have access to this photo. I have such a stellar record with my bracket picks that I know they'll be checking this out closely...Not! Bobby Knight and the others had some great basketball stories to tell ~ but very cryptic insider tips as far as actual picks were concerned. Guess they didn't want to be held responsible for any one's pool outcome. :)
Not really a basketball fan and have never done one of these (pretty unbelievable, eh?) but I do have 2 questions. . . . . I'm assuming you added "Hoops Genius 2011" at the top? So clever! And, does this count as one of your homework assignments? Nice shot.
I like that you blacked out the "winners" from me! I do think you, Dad and Chad are withholding valuable information, but I have a secret weapon. I let Harper make my picks for me :)
@barbsmith You know, Barb, I'm not a huge basketball fan either...but I love the NCAA tournament. I get my basketball "fix" once a year in March. "Hoops Genius" is the name I've always used for my online group (family) bracket picks. We always have a pool going for this tournament and college football bowl games...a $5 entry fee, big bucks. :) As far as homework assignments go, we are to bring three "spring" photos (shot in manual) to class next week to be critiqued ~ as well familiarize ourselves with all of the functions of our cameras. I suppose this bracket shot could qualify as a spring shot...and if I don't come up with anything better, it will. :)
@jgoodridge Now Jeff...I live in the great basketball state of North Carolina. You'll notice on my bracket where I have Syracuse going home. Actually, I'm hoping that my UGA Bulldogs are a miracle Cinderella team...although that's just in my heart, not on my bracket. I'm just happy they made it to the dance. Go Dawgs!
@dinelson Oh dear, Diana...I have nothing against Michigan. But they're playing Tennessee in the first round and my youngest daughter (Molly) and her hubby are UT grads...family loyalty forces me to say, "Go Vols"! :) Have fun watching the madness!! And Happy St. Pat's Day to you!
@peggysirk you're forgiven, as long as you're rooting for UNC and not Duke. There's a right team and a wrong team from your state. Don't know what to say about Georgia except there's always football season. :)
