Saw this cardinal couple on the back fence sharing a bit of lunch from the bird feeder. Shot in a hurry and a little out of focus. But I thought it was too sweet not to share. :)
A teeny tiny bit out of focus, but still a great capture. Are they kissing? Sharing a tidbit of food. But notice how the female has to make the effort in whatever they are doing? :-)
Aw, so sweet! I have been trying to catch a picture of a red cardinal that has been taunting me for months! I love that you managed to catch to two of them doing this amazing cute kiss!
Ah, love is in the air! FABULOUS capture Peggy, what impeccable timing. I've read that the males will feed the females during the mating season...I've seen them do this a couple times but never in the winter.
