Harper spent the day with me today while her mommy was substitute teaching. None of the rushed photos I took turned out very well at all...I was too focused on playing with a baby. :) So, this is a photo from Easter weekend.
Gorgeous photo of your two lovely girls. Just look at those dimpled elbows! Don't you think Harper and Alex would make a splendid couple? (Matchmaking already!)

Thank you so much for the sweet comments, Wendy, Terry, Barbara, and Sarah ~ these are two of my favorite photo subjects for sure!
@dora Thanks for the lovely comments, Dora ~ actually I'm pleased to report that I've used nothing but manual settings since taking my class. There have been days where I get the settings totally wrong or forget to redo the settings at all and end up with completely over or under exposed images before I think to check...but that's happening less frequently than when I first started with all manual.
@barbsmith Thanks, Barb! Yes ~ I had a wonderful day with that baby! She makes all things right with the world. As you know, there's just nothing like grand-motherhood...best job I've ever had. :)
@girlie Ha ~ I definitely think Alex and Harper would make a Wills and Kate caliber couple. We must arrange a first meeting at some point in the future. And so begins the "Grandmothers' Conspiracy".... :)
wow! mummy and baby look terrific.
love the green.
i know just what you mean about the rushed type of photos... people moving, lighting not quite right... but i keep on trying..
this is a great photo
