Tree Hugger by peggysirk

Tree Hugger

This little guy was huddled on the south side of this big oak tree I think to escape the cold North wind. We've had our first real taste of winter today with a high temp of 32 degrees (0 C) and a low expected for tonight of 17 (-8 C). Brrrr. I'll be in by the fire watching the Michigan vs VaTech game and catching up with 365...
cute capture!

He does look like he's hiding from something. You are having about the same temps as we are. Stay warm!

We have so many squirrels that empty our feeder and love to tease the dogs yet I have a hard time getting annoyed with them - it must be so harsh living outside! Nice catch!

Poor little guy--I think ours probably froze themselves today as well. That sudden temp. drop from 65F to 35F overnight was crazy!

Poor little guy needs a blankie!!! Adorable shot! It was 80 degrees here in Scottsdale today! Hard for me to imagine it is so cold in other parts of the country! Stay warm!

I love squirrels, but I can never find any when I have my camera. A good squirrel photo is on my bucket list. It's usually a guaranteed ticket to the popular page! ;)
